Lion Rally

Motorcycle rallies are something else. Read on to find out more about this event.

Motorcycle rallies are something else. There’s something magical and electric when you step into one. The Lion Rally hosted by the Reading Motorcycle Action Group promises to be an excellent place to meet like-minded individuals and celebrate all things two-wheeled in good old-fashioned fun. It is a celebration of all things two-wheeled and local, and features the best Real Ale as well as the best bands.

The rally also promises clean, flushing toilets for those of you who are more than usual, hygienically inclined. There’s a pot of £500 cash to be won by the best in show. As is the norm for motorcycle rallies, there will be plenty of trade stalls for people to check out. The Lion Rally promises to be something else. Even if you don’t have more than a passing fancy for motorcycles, you can still attend the rally and enjoy all of the food (and beer) that the rally has to offer.

The organizers welcome any sort of bike, scooter, trike and everyone who would like to have a grand old time. The Reading Motorcycle Action Group organizes the bike rally for fun as well as to raise money. The money raised helps keep the members on two wheels. They make most of their revenue through their bar - where all they ask is that you drink, chat and have a good time. They have an exquisite, reasonably priced selection of Real Ale, Cider, Lager and spirits.

As this is a motorcycle rally, only motorcycles and trikes will be allowed into the camping field. You can arrive in anything you'd like. However, you will be shown to the nearby parking field. Disabled people who would like to attend should shoot an email to the organizers in advance so that they can make arrangements for you to enter without any trouble. The same holds for people who arrive in trailer tents or caravans that are towed behind a motorcycle.

Location and Entry Fee

The rally will be held at this venue – Gravelly Bridge Farm, Grazeley Green Road, Grazeley, Reading, Berkshire, RG7 1LG.

The event is the perfect place to chill with friends and meet yet to be discovered ones.
