If you are looking for a unique motorbiking festival-like experience, then you should go for the MACH – The Motorbike & Music Festival. Held from 24th – 28th of May, 2018, in Llanidloes, Wales. It is a wonderful motorbiking festival where you can enjoy delicious food, incredible music, ride-outs, and more in the countryside.

Let’s take a look at what this festival has to offer:
    Adventure Quest

The Adventure Quest is back again, but it will be smaller than the one held last year. You get to compete with everyone at the festival in the quest, which involves solving challenges like a scavenger hunt. Get all the answers, find the correct locations, and you will go home with the trophy.

      Guest Speakers

Three guest speakers will be at the festival, who will be talking about their experiences and answering your questions. Spencer James Conway, a professional motorbike adventurer, who was attacked by armed bandits while he was in Kenya, stoned by angry Egyptian villagers, and robbed at the border of Angola and Namibia, is the first guest speaker.

Nick Sanders, who is known for breaking records with his extraordinary motorbike journeys will be at the travel workshop Q&A. He has done almost everything you can imagine and broken many records globally.

Steph Jeavons, a rider who set off to explore the world on the Honda CRF250L will be attending the festival, after finishing her incredible journey in March. She will be giving talks on how to be an adventurer in this day and age.

        Live Music

Along with wonderful guest speakers, the organisers have a variety of artists who will be entertaining you after a great day at the festival.

Artists such as Aziz Ibrahim, Shamus O’Blivion, Echo Arcadia, Pistol Pete Wearn, Washboard Resonators, and The Band From County Hell will ensure that you end the day with a smile on your face.

          Moped Mayhem

For this year, the organisers have introduced a new event known as Moped Mayhem. You will need a team of a minimum of two and maximum of four members to take part in this event (along with a moped). Entry is free in this event as your ticket covers the cost.

            Mouthwatering Food

Caroline’s Kitchen is coming back to provide delicious home cooked foods. You can enjoy high-quality grub at reasonable rates during the entire festival.

              Ride Outs

At MACH, you get to enjoy some of the best roads in the world, as Nick Sanders and other ace marshals guide the way. The weather conditions will determine the Ride Out timing. If you want to go for a solo Ride Out or one with your friends, the organisers will help you out by providing different routes.

                Tickets

The ticket price is £68 to enjoy all the festivities during all four days, such as the camping pitch, guest speakers, Adventure Quest, Moped Mayhem, live entertainment, and Ride-outs.

For an extra £200, you can get a pre-pitched tent that can accommodate two to four people comfortably. If you don’t want to leave your comfort behind, then you can get the Glamping ticket for £390, which gives you a proper bed, chairs, and tables. You also get a bottle of wine on the first day and breakfast every day.
