If you are looking for a great weekend with your family members - you should go to the Llandovery Motorbike Weekend, taking place at Llandovery Mart, on 7th – 8th July 2018.

It is the third time the festival is taking place, and the show is free for all who wish to attend. The organisers have gotten a wide variety of supporters and events for the festival, so you have a great experience. To give you a taste of how much fun the show will be, here are some of the events taking place:

Biker Down Sessions

For free, the Carmarthenshire Road Safety Team and their partners will host the Biker Down sessions. Whether you are a motorbike enthusiast or just visiting for entertainment, it is important to sign up for this event. It is an educational tool for the motorbike community that aims to reduce serious injuries to riders.

Celebrity Biker Tales

Gareth Jones, an adventurer, will be attending the festival. He wants to share his experiences about his adventure in Africa, along with his trustworthy Harley. Once Jones finishes his stories, he will have a meal and a pint with all the attendees.

To support Blood Bikers Wales and Wales Air Ambulance, the organisers will hold an auction. Paul Fielding will be hosting the entire event, including the dinner at the festival. If you want to attend this event, you will have to pay a cover charge of £16. The ticket price includes a meal, a coffee/soft drink/pint, and the entry fee. You can also enter the raffle draw for free, where you can win a special prize.

Music

For any motorbiking event to be entertaining throughout the day, it is paramount that the organisers have live music. This year, thanks to performances from various bands such as The Excuses, Mockingbird, and The Sliders, you will be having a great time while you check out the various events at the festival.

The Bike Show

For the Llandovery Motorbike Weekend, there will be a bike show, where hundreds of machines will be on display. The competition will take place on both days, ensuring you see some of the best motorbikes you can imagine. If you wish to take part in this competition, you will have to pay an entry fee of £5. It is important that your motorbike is completely functional, as it is a primary requisite.

There are four categories in the show – British, Vintage, Japanese, and European.

Town Crier Competition

There is an additional event known as Town Crier for all the bikers at the festival. Only 12 club representatives or individuals can take part in this event.

There are two competitions in this event - The Loudest Voice and The Best Dressed Biker. For The Loudest Voice, you will have to talk about your motorbike, other similar machines, or your experiences on one.
